Pointed Star Quilt Jewelry
Our Sterling Silver LeMoyne Star Design (also known as
Eight Pointed
Star) is a well-loved, favorite pattern of American quilters. It made its
appearance very early in the nineteenth century and is named for two French
Canadian brothers. It is
said that the LeMoyne brothers founded New Orleans around
1699. This quilt design was found on their family crest.
Our LeMoyne Star quilt jewelry measures 1/2" square
and has red enamel defining the pattern.
The quilt earrings come with secure, comfortable sterling silver lever-backs (see
photo) or sterling silver french wires which are more economical but equally
nice.
An 18" sterling silver chain is included with the necklace.
