The Ohio Star is one of the most well known and
identifiable "regional quilt" patterns. Quilt designs were given
names based on nature, political tides, religious dedication,
pioneering spirit and region. As quilt patterns spread to other parts of the country, the
names were often changed. This pattern has also been called
Sawtooth Stars.
We chose dark green enamel to represent
summer foliage. Each block is 1/2" square, the earrings have secure sterling silver leverbacks. An 18" sterling
silver chain is included with the necklace. |
