Many quilt block designs are known by several names.  This popular quilt pattern that we call North Wind, is also known to some as the Basket, and also to others as the Flying Geese.

Some quilt "code" sources say this design meant, "wait to travel until the geese are flying north".  With this meaning, two of the quilt names are mentioned!

The area behind the blue enamel has a ribbed texture that sparkles through and gives the impression of fabric.  Each block is 1/2" square. The earrings come with secure sterling silver leverbacks (see photo) or sterling silver french wires which are more economical but look equally nice.

An 18" sterling silver chain is included with the necklace.  We also offer a North Wind Charm, it comes with a jump ring you can use to attach it to a charm bracelet.  Our designs are made by us in our small Lake Placid studio & are only available on this website.
