The Scalloped Ohio Star is one of a few
designs that we took "outside the box". We added a rounded edge,
giving it a scalloped effect. The traditional square version of this
block is also available. (see our
green Ohio Star design) The blackened
areas of this design are indented cavities, similar to the technique used
with sterling silver Navajo Indian jewelry. The
quilt earrings are just under 3/4" square, and
the large pendant is 7/8" square. They come with secure sterling
silver leverbacks. A 20" sterling silver chain is included with the
necklace. |
